🗑️ Delete Your Guess Wise Quiz Account

We're sorry to see you go! This page explains how to request deletion of your Guess Wise Quiz account and associated data.

⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your quiz history, scores, achievements, and league participation will be permanently deleted.

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed within 30 days:

For legal, security, and analytical purposes, we may retain the following anonymized data:

Retention Period: Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

How to Request Account Deletion

Follow these steps to delete your account:

  1. Send an email to our support team using the email address associated with your account
  2. In the subject line, write: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include your display name or user ID (if known) in the email body
  4. We will process your request within 7 business days
  5. You'll receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

Alternative: Delete Account In-App

You can also delete your account directly from the app:

  1. Open Guess Wise Quiz
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Scroll to "Delete Account" at the bottom
  4. Confirm deletion when prompted

Note: In-app deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
